homes in search of stored beans, grain or
seeds. Common in pantry areas. Leather goods
are also common food source.

Habitat:
Carpenter Ants - moistened
or decaying wood
Fire Ants - nest in
mounds
Damage:
Carpenter Ants - dig
hollow tubes through wood, can compromise
structure and cause major damage to homes
and businesses.
Fire Ants - can invade
home in search of sweets and nest within structure.
